“Was there an announcement?”
Important notices disappear between regular messages and unrelated conversations.
Notices have their own place.
Course coordinators can keep essential updates together, where students know to look.
owlpost®
Announcements in one app. Section discussions in another. Resources in a third. College is complicated enough. Finding your course community shouldn't be.
A class might have a course page, a chat group, a shared drive and a separate place for notices. Finding something simple becomes a task of its own.
Owl Post's idea is to give each course a clear home for the people, updates and resources that belong there.
Important notices disappear between regular messages and unrelated conversations.
Course coordinators can keep essential updates together, where students know to look.
Links get passed around, groups multiply, and it becomes unclear which one is relevant.
In the intended full service, enrollment determines which course and section spaces you can enter.
Slides, meeting links and references get buried in the scroll.
Dedicated resource channels and pinned links make material easier to return to.
Every coordinator starts over with another set of disconnected groups.
A consistent way to arrange announcements, sections and course resources.
This is the vision, not a claim that official university verification or a shared messaging service is live today.
Courses, notices, and resources in one place.
Preview course updates and sections. Apply for coordinator access through a teacher account.
What Owl Post does today, what we're working towards, and how to explore the idea.
Owl Post has its own sign-in and account profiles on First Comet. Its course workspace is still a browser-local preview; shared live messaging is not available yet.
No official institutional integration or approval is claimed. Production verification would require access to approved university enrollment data and appropriate privacy and security safeguards.
The prototype demonstrates the interface and browser-local interactions. It is not a shared realtime messaging platform yet.
Use “Sign in” or “Explore Owl Post” here. Both open Owl Post’s separate login page on First Comet, where students can also create an account.
